Getting started

Connect Gmail, send your first tracked email, and read the analytics in under five minutes.

Welcome. This page walks you from zero to your first tracked send.

1. Sign in with Google

Head to app.maildriply.com/login and choose Continue with Google. We request three scopes:

  • openid, email, profile — so we know which Google account you are.
  • gmail.send — so we can put outgoing messages in your Sent folder.

That's it. We literally cannot read your inbox.

Why we don't ask for read access

The Gmail API has scopes that grant full inbox access. Maildriply does not request any of them. If we wanted to read your mail tomorrow, we'd have to re-prompt every user — and we'd rather not.

2. Compose your first email

Click New send in the sidebar. You'll get a familiar compose window with:

  • Recipient field (paste one address or upload a CSV)
  • Subject line
  • HTML / plain-text body
  • Optional template picker

When you hit Send, two things happen:

  1. We rewrite every link in your message to a signed redirect URL on t.maildriply.com.
  2. We append a 1×1 tracking pixel keyed to the recipient.

Then the message goes out through your own Gmail. Your sender reputation stays yours. We are never the relay.

3. Watch the dashboard

The dashboard at app.maildriply.com updates in real time. You'll see:

  • Sent (30d) — recipients who got a real (non-test) send
  • Open rate — unique opens divided by sent recipients
  • Click rate — unique clicks divided by sent recipients
  • Today's usage — to help you stay inside Gmail's per-day quota
