We requested the smallest possible scope on purpose.

The Gmail API has scopes that let an app read every message you own. Maildriply doesn't use any of them. We ask for gmail.send and that's it. If we wanted to peek at your inbox tomorrow, we'd have to re-prompt every user. We'd rather not.

Common questions

How does Maildriply track email opens and clicks?

We inject a single 1×1 tracking pixel and rewrite links to HMAC-signed redirects at send time. Opens are bot-filtered (Apple MPP, Gmail proxy, known crawlers stripped) and deduplicated per recipient. Clicks resolve server-side so there is no open-redirect risk.

Can Maildriply read my Gmail inbox?

No. We request only the gmail.send OAuth scope, which is technically incapable of reading messages. Your refresh token is AES-256-GCM encrypted at rest. You can revoke access from Google permissions any time.

Do you send through your own servers or SMTP relays?

Neither. Every email leaves your own Gmail account through the Gmail API — your sender reputation and deliverability stay entirely yours. We're a thin layer over Gmail, not a relay.

How much does it cost?

Completely free during our early access period. No credit card, no trial, no expiry. We'll introduce optional paid tiers for higher volumes and team features later — early users get preferential pricing and advance notice.

What happens to my data if I stop using Maildriply?

We revoke the OAuth grant at Google, delete every database row tied to your account, and sign you out. Backups roll off within 90 days. You can also trigger this yourself from Settings.
